A Beginner’s Guide to Boating. I’m a professional in the safety field, involved in boating for over 40 years, both on a professional and pleasure basis; cruising inland water ways and offshore. With this knowledge base of safety, combined with boating we will explore together how you, the boat operator, can have a safe boating experience for yourself, your family and friends. Safety is often stated as the “Number 1” priority; however, in practice it’s often overlooked which can lead to a disaster. We want to mitigate any potential disaster that can lead to personal injury, loss of life and/or property. A boating experience should be enjoyable, it’s an opportunity to participate in God’s creation and use His creation to better ourselves, family & friends. 

Therefore, we will explore all aspects of the boat such as: buying a boat, out-fitting a boat, trailering, mooring, anchoring, docking, navigation, just to name a few.
